Meet Our Team

I have been working with Proud Smiles as an Insurance Coordinator since 2005. I also share office administration duties with my friend and coworker, Karen. I enjoy making patients feel right at home; I am often the first person you speak to when calling the office and one of the first faces you see upon arrival. I strive to prioritize our patients’ needs, ensuring they are comfortable at all times. I am dedicated to helping you obtain the maximum benefits for your dental care.

On a personal note, I am a Momma Bear and wife, affectionately known as “The General,” to two young adults, a loving husband and my three fur babies. I cherish spending quality time with my family, traveling and enjoy cooking. (Disclaimer, for entertainment purposes only) I keep the giggles going by creating funny and entertaining short novellas for my teammates and patients. I enjoy organization and DIYing projects. One of my goals is to become a star on HGTV for home and commercial remodeling and décor.

As an Atlanta native, I bring 15 years of dental experience to Proud Smiles Dental, where I serve as the Restorative Care Coordinator. I also share office duties with my friend and coworkers, Christine and Krissi. I am passionate about getting to know patients as individuals, building relationships, addressing treatment concerns, and creating financial plans to help them achieve their ultimate smile.

Every patient is unique, and there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a patient smile happily after navigating dental insurance, financing, and overcoming fears with my help. I am here to answer all questions, calm fears, and make outstanding dental treatment possible.

Personally, I am a Daddy’s girl, have four amazing god-children whom I enjoy being their Auntie. I also enjoy traveling and often create specialized travel plans for friends and family, arranging both individual and group trips. My passions include exploring new destinations, savoring great food, enjoying all genres of music, and spending time with friends and family.

Hello! I'm Krissi, the Lead Dental Assistant here at Proud Smiles. Over the past 17 years in the dental field, I have had the privilege of helping many patients with their oral health needs. As part of the Proud Smiles team, I work closely with our doctors to ensure smooth operations and to provide caring support for our patients. My path to dentistry was not straightforward. I initially studied Visual Arts, hoping to become an Art instructor. However, life led me to discover a passion for dental care. I like to think that my art background helps me bring a creative touch to our practice, especially when it comes to making our patients feel at ease.

When I am not at the office, I enjoy exploring new places and trying different cuisines. Music is another passion of mine - I love to sing and dance, and sometimes I can't help but hum a tune while working! I also try to give back to our community through volunteer work. Recently, I got married, and I am enjoying this new chapter of my life! At Proud Smiles, our team is committed to making your dental visits as comfortable as possible. Angela Agun, RDH. I am highly skilled in dental hygiene with over 26 years of experience in the dental field. I am also a retired Soldier, served in the US Army for 30 years from April 1992 to Oct 2022.

I graduated from dental assistant school April 15, 1997. I worked in the military as an active-duty Soldier as a dental assistant in various departments including general dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery and oral maxillary facial. I was selected above my peers to attend dental hygiene school. I attended dental hygiene school at West Central Technical College in Douglasville, Georgia and graduated Oct 4, 2001. I received a score of 97.5% in the national board exam which placed me as one of the highest scholastic achievers in the nation and received a 100% on my SRTA practical assessment. I am licensed to practice dental hygiene in the states of Georgia and Texas.

I have been practicing as a dental hygienist since 2001. I am excited and look forward to serving you at Proud Smiles.

Hello! I’m Anna, a dental assistant dedicated to ensuring that every patient feels comfortable and well cared for during their visit. Since entering the dental field in 2022, I have loved helping our patients achieve healthier, brighter smiles. Originally from Ukraine, I’m fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, and English, which helps me connect with a diverse range of patients and create a welcoming environment. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, hiking, and playing tennis. I look forward to meeting you and assisting with your dental needs!
